Lnky ("we," "us") provides a tool at lnky.fun that lets you paste a public Instagram, TikTok, or X link and download the video, photo, or audio behind it. This page explains what happens to your data when you use it.

What we don't collect

We don't require an account, a login, or your Instagram, TikTok, or X credentials to use Lnky. We don't store the media you download, and we don't keep a server-side history of the links you've submitted — the "Recent" list on the homepage lives only in your own browser's local storage and is never sent to us.

What we do collect

• Link submissions: when you paste a link, it's sent to our server to be processed and forwarded to the relevant platform's public content. This happens in memory and is not logged long-term.
• Basic server logs: like most web servers, ours temporarily logs IP addresses and request details for security and troubleshooting (e.g. detecting abuse or debugging errors). These logs are not used for tracking or advertising.
• Contact form submissions: if you use the Contact page, the name, email, and message you provide are sent directly to our support inbox so we can reply to you. We don't add you to a mailing list from this.

Third parties

Fetching your requested content necessarily involves a request to Instagram's, TikTok's, or X's servers, which is governed by their own privacy practices, not ours. We don't share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

Your responsibility

Please only download content you have the right to use, share, or archive. Lnky is a tool for accessing publicly available content you point it at — it doesn't grant you any rights to that content beyond what the original poster and Instagram's terms allow.

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
